| Winter SOULstice Talk and Spirit Walk |
| |
The Holiday season is one that is steeped in tradition, folklore and superstition. The Winter Solstice, or the beginning of winter, created concern because it was cold and dangerous outside. The winter months or “dark months” were an especially vulnerable time where the spirits were particularly active. There was a need for people to huddle together for protection and warmth in order to keep the spirits at bay. The Winter Solstice is December 22, 2011 but you can join us in celebration of the winter season when we gather for the Winter SOULstice Talk and Walk on December 16th and 17th. The Winter SOULstice Talk will start at 6 p.m. at Coffee Rush, followed by the Winter SOULstice Spirit Walk at 7 p.m. on both nights. |
